Vivo X Fold + 5G specifications and features introduced by the company’s CEO; May be released on September 26

Vivo X Fold + 5G specifications and launch date have been revealed, and some of its features have been revealed by a company executive. The smartphone is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a better hinge than the Vivo X Fold that launched earlier this year, a camera co-developed by Zeiss and Vivo, and 4,730mAh battery with 80W Wired Charging. Previous reports have also talked about Qualcomm’s flagship chipset, Zeiss camera, and 120Hz display.

The first information came from Jia Jingdong, Vice President of Vivo, who posted on Weibo that both the internal and external displays of the Vivo X Fold + 5G foldable smartphone will come with 120Hz refresh rate, ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC . The CEO also talked about the hinge and stated that the phone has passed the test 300,000 times and has been certified by TÜV Rheinland.

The CEO also said that the phone will have an imaging system and algorithms made by Vivo and Zeiss. A photo of the design of this smartphone has also been shared. It hints that the Vivo X Fold + 5G may come in a Red color option.

Another Weibo user claim that the phone will also come in a Blue color option and shared a screenshot showing that the Vivo X Fold + 5G will be available for pre-order starting September 21 and will be launched on September 26. 9. The second set of information is shared by concept designer Ben Geskin, who provides a little more detail on the Vivo X Fold + 5G specs. The cameras are said to feature a Zeiss T* coating to optimize light efficiency. The headset is also said to come with a 4,730mAh battery with a capacity of 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
