Recently, a viral video showed an easy way to measure sticky ingredients without making a mess. The idea is simply to create a void in the dry ingredients that can be filled without the use of a spoon. And now, another hack so easy has left us impressed. This easy hack to make chilled Mimosas made us wonder, why didn’t we think of it before?
The video of the easy hack was shared by Carla Alva (@carlaalva) on Instagram Reels and was soon reposted by the popular @todayyearsold. In the clip, Alva begins by mixing orange juice balls into an ice tray. But that’s not all she did! Watch the viral video here:

The super easy hack has reached 12 million views and 500k likes. “I thought she was making OJ cubes for OJ, but she gave me a hand,” reads the caption for the video. In the clip, Alva freezes orange juice in the freezer to make orange ice cubes. Then she just put two ice cubes in the glass, added some sparkling wine and voila! Fresh, chilled mimosas are ready to enjoy.
Isn’t that a clever trick? Instagram users were also impressed with the genius trick to quickly create a series of Mimosas for the summer. “Perfect for summer mimosas by the pool!! Thanks,” one user wrote. Another said: “We have aliens why I never thought of this. Others suggest other drinks that can be made with orange juice capsules.
This isn’t the only clever cooking hack going viral on Instagram. Recently, an excellent hack showed how to remove coriander leaves from the stem with a simple trick. The video went viral and received over 147 million views.
