Warner partners with pre-licensed music for games platform STYNGR
STYNGR, a platform that provides pre-delete feature music for games and metaverse, cooperated with Warner Music Group (WMG).
The partnership will help WMG provide game developers with access to pre-licensed tracks from parts of the company’s music catalog.
According to a press release announcing the agreement, a large number of game developers across the game ecosystem, “including A and AA developers”, will now have the ability to integrate licensed WMG records to their platform.
This includes custom radio stations and music-based character enhancements using the STYNGR software developer toolkit (SDK).
STYNGR claims to unlock “opportunities to earn through small trades, subscriptions and ads”.
Studios like Firefly Games are planning to integrate some music-based games with STYNGR throughout 2022.
First on the list for Firefly Games is the immersive interactive experience in Terminator: Dark Fate.
Following this release, according to STYNGR, “additional cosmetic purchases related to music” and artist-driven integrations “are planned for Firefly games including Rainbow High and the new Umbrella Academy game.” theirs, is currently in development.
