Macaroni and Cheese, commonly known as Mac-N-Cheese, is a creamy and rich pasta dish that feels comforting in every bite. Boiled macaroni is cooked in cheese sauce and topped with bread crumbs and some cheese added. You can also add a variety of ingredients such as meat or vegetables. A humble bowl of mac-n cheese that never disappoints! Recently, a U.S.-based cheese company called Schreiber Foods Inc. broke the Guinness World Record for making the world’s largest macaroni and cheese ever.

This super food weighs up to 2,151 kg and sets a new world record. The American food company made this dish with the help of employees in Logan, Utah, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the manufacturing plant. It took them a total of three hours and 26 minutes to prepare the dish, which included 928.5 kilograms of cooked pasta, 478.53 kilograms of cheese, 543.85 kilograms of whole milk and 72.57 kilograms of butter, according to the website. Guinness World Records.
After making the dish, the company distributed it to more than two thousand people present on the spot. Additionally, Schreiber Foods has partnered with a local grocery store to donate any remaining food. The event was overseen by official Guinness World Records judge, Brittany Dunn. Accompanying her was a food industry environmental health scientist and manager from the Department of Agriculture and Food, Wyoming, who examined food safety practices.

The company beat out Cabot Creamery Cooperative and Chef John Folse & Company, both in the US, who held the world record ahead of them. They prepared 1,119.91 kilograms of macaroni and cheese on September 23, 2010, at Fulton Square, New Orleans.
