A Pakistani restaurant is providing free food to the poor; Reddit is impressed
The past few years have been a testing time for people all over the world. From fighting pandemics to fighting personal battles, people around the world have been through it all. And it is at such times that kindness comes first and helps people to forge faith in humanity. A Pakistani restaurant in New Jersey is trying to do the same with the help of food. It is a clear fact that food, especially safe, hygienic food, is a luxury not everyone enjoys on a daily basis. Maybe not everyone can get a warm meal with a nutritious meal three times a day in the world. However, if you live in New Jersey in the United Sates, a Pakistani restaurant will get you at least one meal a day.

A recent post from Reddit caught our attention and it was about a Pakistani restaurant that hung a generous sign on their wall. It reads “Dear friend, if you are hungry and cannot afford food, please don’t be shy, your food is available on Karachi Kafe. Just ask for a free box. We won’t ask for one. Let’s look at the picture here:
The comment section soon after was overwhelmed by the generosity of the restaurant and praised them for an act of kindness.
Although the main goal of the cafe is to help those in need, there are many who try to abuse the generosity of places like this. As rightly pointed out by many viewers interested in the financial growth of the cafe while trying to serve the community:

Soon, people started flocking to suggestions and names of other places doing the same to help strangers or people in need. Some similar mentions we can spot are of the langurs at Gurudwaras and the Hare Krishna mission.
As they say, food tastes better when it’s filled with ingredients of love and kindness. What are your thoughts on the same? Let us know in the comments below.
