I Am Celebrity hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly mocked the prime minister for his clumsy headline-grabbing keynote address to business leaders.
Reference duo Boris JohnsonHis speech in a link on Monday night’s episode of the hit series, which premiered the previous night with Celebrities include Frankie Bridge from The Saturday, TV presenter Richard Madeley and soccer star David Ginola.
Earlier in the day Mr Johnson delivered a much mocked speech to the Confederation of British Industry in South Shields – near Newcastle, Ant and Dechome town – Check out a day trip to Peppa Pig amusement park and make car engine noises.
Part of that passage was an awkward silence as the prime minister appeared to have lost his place and was left with messy papers. He muttered “explode” before saying “forgive me” to the crowd.
After that I’m a celebrity, appearing directly from Gwrych Castle in North Wales, McPartlin asked his co-host where they bought a cake featured in a challenge.
Flipping the pages over for more than 10 seconds, Donnelly looked confused and said “forgive me!” repeatedly – until finally finding the correct page and exclaiming: “We got it in Poundland in the Rhyl.”

In 2017, Stanley, Johnson’s father, appeared on the show’s 17th series, finishing in seventh place.
Monday night’s episode also saw French soccer star Ginola open up to his campmates about how he survived a heart attack.
The 54-year-old suffered cardiac arrest during a charity match in France in 2016 and received on-field CPR from footballer Frederic Mendy.
“Just play ball and get to a point where you just fall on the floor,” he said. “So they had to do CPR for 12 minutes and they came in with a defibrillator and they shocked me, once, twice, three times.
“They said, ‘I think your friend is dead.’ The fourth time, the fifth time. The fifth time, a heartbeat.
“The surgeon said, ‘you’ve been very lucky, David, it’s a miracle. In your condition, nine out of ten people are dead.”
“When you come back from there, you just have a mind full of questions. Was that a message? Did I return to a second life for a purpose?
“Because when you fight, when you die, you are at a crossroads. There is life and death.”
The contestants in this year’s series are now divided into two groups, with half living in the castle and the rest in the cells below, with basic facilities and limited rations.
