Your skin is your makeup base; so it has to be perfect. If you have fresh and glowing skin, your makeup will always look good and look its best. So, before you start applying makeup, clean your face with a mild cleanser. Then, on damp skin, apply a hydrating moisturizer based on your skin type. Make sure to apply a moisturizer with a light consistency as it will help the makeup glide on smoothly. Give it about 5-10 minutes before you move on to the first step of your makeup routine.
2. Don’t skip the primer step
Primer is extremely important if you want a flawless makeup look. Depending on your skin’s needs, you can choose a pore-filling or mattifying primer or you can choose a highlighter primer.
