Huawei MateBook E (2022) 2-in-1 device was launched on Wednesday. Running on Windows 11, the MateBook E (2022) has a 12.6-inch OLED display. Huawei’s new 2-in-1 comes with 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1160G7 processor. Besides, the company also revealed Huawei VR Glass 6DoF Game Kit which is a virtual reality (VR) headset ) latest for gamers. The headset comes with dedicated controls to enhance the immersive experience. The Shenzhen-based company launched its new products at an event where it also showcased its latest smartwatch, the Huawei Watch GT Runner.

The new one Huawei MateBook E (2022) has a starting price of CNY 5,999 (about Rs 69,700) for the Intel Core i5 variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. The device also comes in an Intel Core i5 model with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD for CNY 6,999 (about Rs 81,400) and an Intel Core i7 variant with the same 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD configuration for CNY 7,999 (approx. Rs 93,000). It is offered in Interstellar and Nebula Ash colors.
The Huawei VR 6DoF game set is priced at CNY 3,999 (about Rs 46,500) and is available in a single Black color option.
In terms of availability, the Huawei VR Glass 6DoF Game Kit will be available for purchase in China starting November 26, however, the Huawei MateBook E (2022) will go on sale in the country starting from May 1. twelfth.

Under the hood, the Huawei MateBook E (2022) features an 11th generation Intel Core i7-1160G7 processor, paired with Intel Iris Xe graphics and up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM. There’s also up to 512GB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage.
The MateBook E comes with a host of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.1. You’ll also get a Thunderbolt 4 (USB Type-C) port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Furthermore, the device comes with an 8-megapixel camera at the front and a 13-megapixel camera at the rear.
Huawei equipped the MateBook E (2022) with four speakers and a microphone. There is also a fingerprint sensor built into the power button.
The Huawei MateBook E (2022) has a 42Whr lithium polymer battery. There is also a kickstand that allows you to move the tablet between 110–160 degrees. Furthermore, this 2-in-1 device measures 286.5×184.7×7.99mm and weighs 907 grams.

Huawei VR 6DoF game set is an upgrade for Huawei VR Glasses, which disclosure back in 2019. The new model comes with a 6DoF vision module and two gamepad controllers – along with the regular Huawei VR Glasses. The headset has a 2.1-inch dual-fast LCD panel that provides a monocular resolution of 1,600×1,600 pixels and a binocular resolution of 3,200×1,600 pixels. The display also offers a combined pixel density of 1,058ppi and has a refresh rate of 70Hz when used with a mobile device or 90Hz when paired with a computer.
Sensors on the VR Glass headset include an accelerometer, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. Huawei has also equipped the 6DoF vision module with an accelerometer, gyroscope and a dedicated camera for motion detection and ambient analysis. The gamepad controls, on the other hand, come with an accelerometer, capacitive proximity sensor, compass, gyroscope, and a magnetometer.
The gamepad controls come with joystick and menu keys and include the trigger button and the usual A and B keys. On the headset there is also a home button to return to the home page.
As for the audio, the 6DoF VR Game Kit offers spatial positioning, environment modeling, and multi-channel sound effects. There’s also a built-in microphone and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Huawei VR 6DoF game set comes with a clip that allows you to attach your smartphone to your belt while playing games on the headset. Alternatively, you can connect it to your PC. The VR Glass headset weighs 166g, while the 6DoF vision module is 22g, and each gamepad controller weighs 103.5g.
