Isuzu wants to offer Australian buyers more accessories
Isuzu Ute Australia has admitted that it needs to begin investigating the potential of introducing an approved branded accessories partner as Ford has done with ARB accessories.
“Yes, that is one of the areas we need to research,” said Ryosuke Takeishi, service and aftersales manager for Isuzu Ute Australia.
“So far we have no ruling, but yes, that will be one of the areas.
“It could be a great opportunity for us.”
Isuzu Ute Australia PR manager Mark Harman points out that the company already has partnerships with Rhino-Rack on roof racks and awnings, as well as Clearview on towing mirrors. These accessories are available for dealer installation D-Max And MU-X.
The company also offers its own range of general accessories including anti-slip bars, steps, snorkel, trays and tonneau covers, among others.
At this stage, it is unclear which off-road accessory companies Isuzu will consider partnering with. Examples may include ARB, TJM or Ironman 4×4, among others.
Main foe Ford launches its collaboration with off-road accessories company ARB in 2021 to sell additional aftermarket accessories through a national dealer network.
Modifications are available for forest ranger And Everest Moutain Available for purchase and installation at Ford dealers. They are labeled as Ford Licensed Accessories and come with a full 5-year Ford factory warranty.
