Khubani, Aerocity Is The Ideal Destination For A Luxury, High Spirit Weekend
Throughout the week, the excitement of the next weekend lingers in our minds. While some of us just want to stay indoors, the rest want to relax by getting out and experiencing the vibrant city in its most elemental form. Delhi offers a wide range of options for a rejuvenating escapade in one form or another. But to find a speed that delivers everything under one roof is difficult. Khubani, Andaz Delhi, nestled in Aerocity, invites us all to come for a comprehensive royal experience that lasts.
Food, atmosphere, music, luxury, entertainment – I ticked everything off my checklist with a visit to Khubani.
Surroundings:
As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a large fountain that leads you to a monumental two-story dome that houses the royal toilets with a massive central bar. I looked around, and I fell in love with the beautiful Persian-themed decor with intricate traditional tapestries adorning the walls and shimmering chandeliers hanging from the roof.
Drinks:
I start the evening with Royal Of Khubani cocktail – a drink made from gin that is combined with spices. Vodka lovers must try Revolution, which contains vodka mixed with a multitude of flavors from spices and orange juice. And those who are looking for something different to make their evening enjoyable, can give it a try Bottle of Martini.
Dish:
The food menu is a fusion of flavors from around the world but highlights Middle Eastern culture through a Turkish-style menu. Whatever you choose to eat, don’t start without trying sushis. Phoenix Roll (tempura shrimp with cucumber and avocado) not to be missed. California Our Way – Crab meat sushi with mayonnaise, avocado and cucumber sauce is a dish not to be missed. Rainbow crystal dumplings Delivers the perfect dumpling sensation with succulent chicken and added flavor.
From Asian dishes, the first time I tried Green Smoked Fish Wrapped in Banana LeavesHonestly, a bit bland for my taste, but it does win some points for its presentation and soft, mushy texture. Khubani Kapaneer is a must have if you are vegetarian. Even if you don’t, the crunchy, chewy texture and mixed flavor won’t make you miss the meat. I will rate them Thai curry average with usual taste but Pad Thai Noodles really special.
Entertainment:
Now, food isn’t the only thing on our agenda when we step out for the weekend. And I’m glad I chose Khubani for the high-octane place it turns into after dinner. Aerobatics, belly dancing, fire dance, Sufi tunes, pop music – there’s so much to keep you entertained and swayed to the pulsating music.
