Mira Kapoor is a self-confessed foodie, if her social media posts are anything to go by. Be it fresh fruit and salads or home-cooked desi and five-star exotic dishes, Mira is known for sharing glimpses of her meals with her team of live followers. Her growing online. So when she dined at a Michelin-starred Asian restaurant in Mumbai recently, how could she not capture it on Instagram? Mira shared a few photos of her hearty meal on Instagram Stories. And we’re sure that one look at it could make any fan of Chinese food turn green with envy.
In one of the images, we can see some dumplings served in a bamboo steamer next to what looks like a plate of pad thai. In the other, there’s a lone crystal dumpling – a translucent dumpling that’s the signature dish of the dish – that comes with a few sauces. “After two years, it feels like coming home. Delicious chicken and shrimp dumplings, rich in spices and a splash of sesame oil – doesn’t your mouth water even when you’re reading about it? Save this for a delicious weekend dinner. Serve with sauces of your choice.
3) Beetroot and coconut dumplings
Combine the color of beets with the flavor of coconut to make this hearty dumpling. It could be the perfect vegan dinner option. It’s a sweet dumpling, with other ingredients being cinnamon, cardamom, and honey.
4) Assorted vegetable buns
Being fully vegetarian, you can use spinach and carrots to get the green and saffron-colored momo skins respectively. It could be the perfect appetizer if you’re someone who carries patriotism up your sleeve. They are easy to cook.
5) Kiwi and black olive dumplings
If you are willing to test your taste buds, then you can do this. It’s a great combination of fake duck and kiwi.
