New restaurant announcement: Smokey grill what do you think? The hole in Delhi is the place to be

There’s something appealing about grilled, smoky food that we Indians simply cannot resist. Whether it’s the tantalizing flavors of Tandoor or the earthy notes of Tawa – we enjoy these unique dishes as part of our meals. A new restaurant in Delhi NCR is now serving up our love for smoky flavors and reinventing them in a fun new avatar. ‘The Pit’ is the latest addition to the capital city’s list of vibrant restaurants. Located at the busy Priya Complex in Vasant Vihar, it is quickly becoming a favorite with diners in the city.

A rustic space with luxurious furniture and a bit of greenery, The Pit brings a sense of comfort and charm. The aroma of the smoked succulent cuts of meat immediately whetches your appetite and makes you salivate. What’s unique about The Pit is that it grills all of its handcrafted meats in a 7-foot by 3-foot smoking pit. Quality meats are smoked and cooked for a longer time, providing an authentic Western-style grill.

We started our meal with Roasted sesame salad and two Bruschettas – Tomato & Bocconcini Bruschettaand Bell peppers and Bruschetta mushrooms. Both dishes were prepared with attention to detail and provided a great start to our meal. Then we move on to the included parties Mac n Cheese and Pineapple paprika. Our favorite is the Mac n Cheese – irresistible addiction!

For mains power, we tried signature Garlic Butter Smoked Shrimp – a delicious dish was the highlight of our meal. The Lamb chops and Pork belly followed shortly after and served with bean paste and mashed potatoes on the side. We also sampled Pork Bangers those are the special sausages in the house.

In the herbivore section, we tried Black bean burger was melted with cheese and served with a small salad and fries. In dessert, the brand Tiramisu is our top choice. The ice cream provided a satisfying ending to our indulgent meal!
