Russian defense companies that manufacture armored vehicles and trucks are using Western components to equip their military vehicles.

“It all started with them asking the military to see what was under the cover of the Tigr [Russian armored utility vehicle]and they found German spare parts there,” said Deputy Director of Digital Transformation at Ukraine’s Ministry of Social Policy, Konstantin Koshelenko.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba also added that such Western systems have been found in the Russian-made Pantsir-S1 air defense system.
