Square Enix reveals six pairs of Adidas Guardians Of The Galaxy sneakers
Square Enix and Marvel have revealed a new partnership with Adidas in the form of six new sneakers inspired by the most unlikely team in the universe.
Announced today, the collection is due out in 2022 and features six unique shoes, each inspired by one of the Guardians. There were two based on Eidos Montreal’s role in Star-Lord, and then one for Gamora, Drax, Groot and Rocket. However, Square Enix hasn’t revealed pricing for any of these sneakers, so we’ll likely find out more next year.
“A key starting point for the design of each sneaker are the unique visual cues from each character – whether it’s the stitching details on Star-Lord’s leather jackets, Groot’s earthy color palettes, and more. or Drax’s unmistakable tattoos,” Adidas senior designer James Liu said in a statement Press Release. “From there, we wanted to include various elements of design exploration to help further bring the story of the reachable character to life. Bringing it all together in the collection are unique hallmarks of this Guardians of the Galaxy original as a team of Super Heroes – with matching pads, hang tags, labels and packaging. . ”

As for what the shoes are, here’s what you can expect: Star-Lord Forum Hi 84, Star-Lord Forum Mid, Gamora ZX 2K Boost 2.0, Drax Ozelia, Groot NMD R1 and Rocket ZX 1K Boost.
