Prologue Honda 2024
From what we’ve gathered so far, it appears that the development of Prologue began around the time the world first closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With people working remotely, designers and engineers have turned to virtual reality to help design the vehicle, which the company calls “Neo-rugged.” Then, in early 2022, Honda and General Motors announced a partnership to help bring affordable electric vehicles to the masses.
The foreword, like Acura ZDX 2024 coming soon, will borrow Ultium battery and chassis technology from GM. This will act as a temporary solution until Honda finalizes its in-house e:Architecture platform, which is expected to launch at some point in 2026.
The designers made sure to give the Prologue a separation both visually and in size from the redesigned CR-V 2023. While the grille and narrow headlights follow Honda’s current styling trends, the rest of the exterior is different from its petrol and hybrid siblings. The Prologue’s 122-inch wheelbase, 192-inch overall length, and 78-inch width are 15.7 and 5 inches larger, respectively, than the compact CR-V, making it roughly the same as the midsize Passport.
The interior looks to be quite spacious. The dashboard will be an 11-inch screen while infotainment duties will be handled by an 11.3-inch touchscreen.
Additional details and pricing for the Honda Prologue will be revealed closer to the launch date of 2024.

With Honda accelerating its timetable to sell more all-electric vehicles in the US by 2030, it makes sense for it to partner with another automaker to bring the product to market sooner. so they can perfect their own solution. The Prologue’s design strikes a great balance between futuristic and conventional, which will immediately give it mass-market appeal, especially if it comes at a premium.
