Harvey Horn (9-0, 2 KOs) is promising a “master class” when he meets Fadhili Majiha (27-14-4, 13 KOs) at Wasserman Boxing’s ‘The Development Series’ event on Thursday, November 25 at London’s iconic York Hall, live on Boxing Social in the UK and Ireland, and FITE TV in all other territories worldwide.
Horn had to prepare for a new opponent for the second time shortly after Jerson Ortiz withdrew. The 26-year-old Nampaw will now face Tanzanian Majiha, an experienced operator who dropped Andrew Selby twice during their 2019 competition in Newcastle.

“I’m buzzing,” Horn said. “I’m having high expectations. Obviously, the opponent’s change isn’t ideal but it doesn’t really bother me. Now I’m experienced enough to know that regardless of what my opponent is carrying. No matter what, I can still counterattack, neutralize them and defeat anyone in front of me.
“I looked at my opponent a little bit. I have seen what he does. I’ve found he can be a little trickier, but I know what I have to do. I have ten rounds to impose my game plan on him and I am confident that I can get the job done. I had a great camp, I’m in great shape and my game went well.
“Now the ball is rolling. The main problem in my career so far has been inactivity. Had the opportunity, but I was not motivated. Since signing with Wasserman Boxing, I’ve had two fights in eight weeks. They knew that if I was properly motivated and kept busy it would be a world honor for me.
“I did what I said I would do in my last battle. It was my first game after two years off and I played really well. Obviously I still have a bit of a temper so there are bound to be things I don’t do right away, but this time, I have no excuses. I am an active, new fighter, so this fight is no less than a master class. I am putting pressure on myself. I believe that given what I’m doing in the gym and how good I feel, it’s going to be a premium class. “

Top heavyweight prospects Hosea Stewart and Matty Harris will make their professional debuts after signing promotional terms with Wasserman Boxing. Stewart, who has been selected by Anthony Joshua as a joining partner for his fight with Kubrat Pulev, will face Artur Kubiak, while hot Harris will meet Bulgaria’s Mladen Manev.
