Los Angeles’ Rose Bowl Stadium is set to host one of the biggest live music K-Pop experiences in history with a blockbuster lineup of artists.
KAMP LA 2022 will be organized by KAMP Global and Eventim Live Asia (ELA) from October 15 to 16.
It will mark MONSTA X, Exo KAI, and Jeon Somi’s first solo US appearances in the US, and Super Junior’s return to Los Angeles for the first time in six years.
The lineup also features iKON for their first US concert since COVID-19, BamBam and other artists performing in the US for the first time including Zion.T and Lapillus.
More artists will be included in the lineup in the coming weeks, according to the organizers.
KAI, the first EXO member to also be a member of SuperM, said “this could be the biggest K-pop event in US history.”
“Being part of the biggest K-pop music experience in history is incredibly exciting. This is something special that K-pop fans will remember and talk about for years to come,” said Super Junior’s Lee Teuk.
The event comes amid the growing popularity of K-Pop in the US, with BTS winning Artist of the Year at the 2021 American Music Awards, the first award for an Asian pop group and the winner has been crowned IFPI Global Recording Artist Award 2021.
Blackpink’s upcoming debut performance at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards is also one to watch for K-Pop fans.
According to the organizers, KAMP LA 2022 is more than just a concert as it will bring an exciting event with art, food, games and important brand collaborations.

KAMP Global and ELA collaborated with Los Angeles artist Kenny Scharf to create the image and aesthetic of KAMP LA 2022 as well as with Korean media phenomenon Dingo Music and Korea’s personal card payment system. i-Aurora to allow payment via Korean payment approved cards.
This event is one of ELA’s original projects since start last year. The group was formed by the company that sold tickets and promoted the concert CTS Eventim partnered with Jason Miller, former senior vice president of Asia on Living country.
Miller is estimated to have produced 80% of the highest-grossing Asian tours of the past decade for Western artists, including Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Madonna, Maroon 5, U2, and many more.
Meanwhile, KAMP is led by CEO Tim Kim, who has experience working with famous clients in the Western and Hollywood music space. KAMP held its first event in Singapore with the sold-out Singapore Festival 2019 featuring Super Junior, NCT 127, Stray Kids, MOMOLAND, GFRIEND, Sonnet Son, WJSN, Chungha, Ha Sung-woon and Alexa.
Kim wants KAMP LA 2022 to be “the ultimate K-pop experience in every way”.

Pre-sale access starts at $179, excluding fees. Pre-registration will close at 7pm (PDT) on Thursday (August 18) and pre-sale tickets will go on sale from 10am (PDT) on Friday (August 19).
KAMP LA 2022 will be the latest major K-Pop event to land at Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California, which previously hosted two BTS concerts in May 2019.

But ahead of the blockbuster event in October, the Rose Bowl will feature K-pop star Chungha, rapper Jay Park, Korean singer-songwriter BIBI, singer-songwriter eaJ, and GOT7 member Jackson Wang. Festival 88using’s Head in the Clouds this weekend.
