OLG returns as title sponsor of Canada Triple Crown
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Company (OLG) will return as title sponsor for the Canadian Triple Crown of Thoroughbred in 2022, Woodbine Entertainment announced Thursday. The OLG Canada Triple Crown thoroughbred race including The Queen’s Plate, to be held on August 21 at Woodbine Racecourse, Prince of Wales S., to be held September 13 at Fort Erie Racetrack and Breeders’ S., will be running October 2 at Woodbine.
Woodbine CEO Jim Lawson said: “Woodbine is delighted to once again partner with OLG to win Canada’s prestigious Triple Crown. “OLG’s support of horse racing and events like the Triple Crown is a powerful support for Woodbine and other organizations to elevate our flagship events and bring thousands of people to the great sport. our great.”
