Sam Cohen promoted to SVP of Business Development at 10K Projects
Sam Cohen has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Business Development at indie label 10K projects.
In this new role, Cohen will continue to work on the label’s roster of artists and will look to expand its partnerships with creators.
Cohen joined 10K Projects in 2018 and has worked closely with the Founder and CEO of 10K Projects Elliot Grainge to build labels.
Previously, he was the Artist Marketing Manager, where he worked with 10K artists such as Internet Money, Iann Dior and Trippie Redd.
MarchTrippie Redd signed a described “long-term” contract with 10K Projects that will keep him “at the label for many years to come,” a press release said at the time.
Trippie Redd also published an Instagram post hinted that he had “Just signed @Elliot for 30 million”.
In addition to business development duties, Cohen will focus on the 10K Ventures initiative, launched in November 2021.
10K Ventures was formed to help early-stage founders integrate in the music ecosystem, 10K said, and plans to invest between $100,000 and $1 million in initial capital in a “portfolio of growing company” that it supports, the company said at the time of launch.
Cohen’s promotion is the latest hiring move from 10K, which has expanded its team in recent months.

This follows February announcement that the Homemade Project founders Zach Friedman and Tony Talamo were named as Co-Chairs of the company.
