The trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is here – in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. As promised, on Wednesday night, Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first trailer for the third Fantastic Beasts movie that will showcase new magical communities from Bhutan, China and Germany – in addition to bringing us even more of Brazil (Fantastic Beasts). : The Dumbledore’s Secret was actually filmed in Brazil as well). The story of Fantastic Beasts will continue to be told through the point of view of the quirky, self-proclaimed magician Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), whose presence is at the heart of Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) and Gellert Grindelwald ( Mads Mikkelsen) the story is increasingly questionable. But then that’s true of so many installments of this Harry Potter spin-off series.
“If you listen carefully enough, the past will whisper to you,” said an invisible voice at the beginning Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore trailer, before Newt visits Dumbledore in what appears to be his hometown. Dumbledore then tells Newt that Grindelwald (Mikkelsen, replacing Johnny Depp, and first seen here as the dark wizard) is pulling the world apart by hatred, and that he will need to trust him if they want to defeat him. Newt’s brother Theseus (Callum Turner) then gives us a tour of the new team: a magician, his indispensable assistant (Victoria Yeates), a witch from a family of rights ex-force (William Nadylam), a teacher (Jessica Williams), and a Muggle (Dan Fogler).

Though he’s not quite a Muggle anymore. Fogler is receiving a wand from Dumbledore, Newt told him. There’s a shot of long-haired Credence Barebone (Ezra Miller) staring at a phoenix – Grindelwald accuses him of being Dumbledore’s long-lost brother in the second Fantastic Beasts movie – and then in the trailer Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, Credence and Dumbeldore even stand in a duel. Elsewhere, there’s plenty of action, and what looks like a happy reunion for Jacob (Fogler) and his lover Queenie Goldstein (Alison Sudol), who turned to the dark side last time.
In addition to Redmayne, Law, Mikkelsen, Turner, Yeates as Bunty, Nadylam as Newt’s Franco-Senegal ally Yusuf Kama, Williams as Professor Ilvermony Hicks, Fogler as WWI veteran Jacob Kowalski, No-Maj ( non-magical), Miller as the anti-hero Credence Barebone, and Sudol as Queenie, Tina’s sister, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore also stars Katherine Waterston as Auror Tina Goldstein (I don’t think so. where shown in the trailer), and William Poppy Corby-Tuech as Vinda Rosier, Grindelwald’s right-hand man.
Behind the scenes, David Yates – who directed both previous seasons Magical Creatures movies and the last four movies Harry Potter film – returns as director in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. The increasingly controversial author of Harry Potter JK Rowling, and Harry Potter series veteran Steve Kloves is responsible for writing the screenplay for Dumbledore’s Secret. Rowling and Kloves are also producers of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore alongside David Heyman, Lionel Wigram and Tim Lewis. The Secrets of Dumbledore is a production of Heyday Films.
