Franklin and Dr. Dre Star in Contract, New Story Update for GTA Online
GTA Online is having a new story-driven adventure starring Franklin Clinton, one of the Grand Theft Auto DRAWof the three main characters. Contract catches up with the master of barbering yee-yee a** and throws Dr. Dre into the mix to look like a wild adventure.
Contracts is a free update that comes a few years after the events of GTA V. After taking down the Union Depository, Franklin founded his own “famous solutions agency”: F. Clinton and Partners . His business was aimed at helping the rich and famous of Vinewood solve their first-world problems, and Franklin needed a partner and a major client to launch it.
That partner is, of course, you, and you’re connected to Franklin through a mutual bond: Lamar Davis, best friend, internet meme, and now aspiring cannabis entrepreneur. DJ Pooh also reached out to Franklin to connect him with the perfect client: Dr. Dre. You see, Dre lost his phone on the way to Cayo Perico, and it contained his unreleased music. The phone fell into the wrong hands, giving F. Clinton and Partner the perfect job to make a name for themselves.
Rockstar says the grotesque adventure unfolds across Franklin’s former Los Santos properties, to the FIB offices to rave parties in the mansion. In addition to teaming up with Franklin, you’ll team up with Chop the Dog and hacker Imani to restore Dr. Dre’s phone and prevent his new tracks from leaking to the world.
The contract will launch in GTA Online on December 15, and Rockstar promises to share more details in the coming days. The publisher introduced new weapons and vehicles along with a new radio station and “first of its kind” updates to existing stations. Yes, including exclusive new music by Dr. Dre himself. This might explain Reviews of Snoop Dogg from October about Dr. Dre working on new music for “the upcoming GTA game.”
Again, GTA Online is discontinued on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on December 16.
