SEATTLE – Events Seahawks is considering Adrian Peterson to see what the running back veteran may have left in his Hall of Fame career.
Coach Pete Carroll told reporters on Wednesday that the Seahawks have signed 36-year-old Peterson to their training lineup as a potential boost to their already-rising backstage area.
“Nice to hear if he can help us and give us a little something,” said Carroll. “He’s a player I’ve known forever – from his high school days – and admired him so much over the years. Always disappointed that we didn’t bring him back in the day, But like I just told him, we finally got him. So I’m looking forward to seeing how he does and where he can fit in. He’s a worthy opponent. He’s amazing and a great guy, so I can’t wait to give him the chance to play with our boys.”

Peterson was exempted last week by Tennessee Titans, who signed him after losing the star Derrick Henry to a broken foot. He made 27 times in the 82 meters and one touch in three matches.
Carroll declined to comment on what Peterson could add to Seattle’s backyard, saying he needs to watch him practice first. The Seahawks (3-8) are in what Carroll describes as “recovery mode” in de facto over the next few days as they prepare to host.
