Volkswagen Australia remembering 1228 example of it Golf due to manufacturing problems can cause the radiator to move around and potentially lose engine coolant.
This recall affects Golf The Mk8 is manufactured from 2019 to 2022.
“Due to a manufacturing issue, the radiators on some vehicles may not be properly secured,” the company said in the recall notice.
“This can cause the radiator to move and possibly lose engine coolant. Loss of coolant will be indicated by visual and audible warnings for low coolant. “
“If the driver ignores the warnings, engine overheating and subsequent power loss can occur.”
